In preparation for joining the throng, most people probably limited their fluid intake, wore protection, had a wee just before leaving their home and ascertained the location of toilets when they got to their station. But we know that young men in the 18 to 26 age range are least likely to do any of these things. By now (right after the ceremony) there must be some bladders screaming for relief. I expect someone may post a sighting before the end of the day.

Although, like most royals, he has doubtless learned to control his bladder and has also received military training, because he will be the center of attention for a long day, you are probably correct in his being "clad for emergencies".

I wouldn't be surprised if most of the senior Royals were 'clad for emergencies' on the day.
