I wonder if any of these comedy hypnosis shows ever go wrong and someone actually does what they think they have done!
I once participated in a show like that (on a cruise ship) and I was hypnotised with about 10-15 other people in front of the audience. One of the silly things the hypnotist made us all do was think that we really had to pee. So we were sitting there squirming about in front of the laughing audience. But what I particularly remember is that the hypnotist kept impressing on us that, even though we were desperate, we were not going to wet ourselves. That is perhaps the key thing that they, the hypnotist show-givers, know they must do to avoid a situation like what you describe.
Of course, the situation in the video is a bit different. The hypnotist has made the guy really think he has wet himself. So I can only imagine that in this case there really was a risk that he actually would do that.

That’s fascinating. I don’t think I would be brave enough to be a participant in a show like that!!
I guess the hypnotist would have his reputation badly scarred if someone did actually wet himself?
I've often wondered if hypnosis would cause someone to wet himself - or at least convince him that he had to pee very urgently. Not in public, of course. Or, after a few beers to have him think he could hold a full bladder.
Having seen the film, the character doesn't actually need to piss, he just uses it as an excuse. But I love how the actor pronounces "busting", and the actor is hot too.

He is!
Her response was one possibility. But I'd have said he could just do it in his pants if he wanted.
