Unsure if this should be in this thread or the Misc one? Also unsure if this has been asked before (probably has)?
I wet my pants at my desk at home sometimes. Sometimes on purpose, sometimes I hold it until it bursts out. It always reeks afterwards.
I'm always replacing desk chairs, as a result. They stink no matter how much I use the fabric / carpet cleaner on them, no matter what solution I use to clean with etc. The smell never really leaves and I end up having to throw the chair out otherwise my bedroom will reek of it and the smell then attaches to my clothes in my open-wardrobe near where my desk is etc.
I stay away from fabric desk chairs because they seem to be the hardest to deep clean. Especially when I've made a day / night of wetting myself multiple times. In the past, I have used plastic IKEA chairs, but there aren't many comfortable plastic desk chairs on the market. I don't wet myself daily or even weekly so it's more of an occasional indulgence - I don't want to suffer with an uncomfortable chair for the occasional "accident".
I've had leather too, which can be more durable sometimes and easier to clean, but the urine still seeps deep in to it sometimes and is a nightmare to get back out with cleaning. Throwing towels and other fabrics on top of the chair for me to sit on rarely helps either as the urine soaks through and I tend to hold it in until I lose control, so there's a lot of strong, potent wee which naturally smells stronger and is harder to remove. The towels / blankets just get drenched and it still goes through on to the chair just as much.
I'm curious, what do others do?
