We get a lot of spam here. Usually in the form of users joining up and then trying to post spam and unwanted content on the site.

We have a team of moderators here to protect you from such things. We get to see the public boards thing, so stuff in the open.

However, I've just supported a user that hasn't logged in for a while and has had quite a lot of PM spam.

Some of it is quite innocous, but some of it is a bit devious. One of them was referencing a post they made, but linked to the post, which went off site to somewhere else.

When you're looking at links on this site, if you hover your mouse/scroll icon over the link, you should see where it's going. If its not somewhere you recognise, then don't go there.

There is an exclamation mark at the top of the PM, on the right hand side. Select that, and it will take you to a form. You don't have to copy the message to us as it's forwarded on in the report.

Then send the message to us

You can also use that box to report other unsavoury communications there, although we don't get much else of that apart from Spam...
