Yes! I think he had no real choice but to wet his pants. There is a "the show must go on" that dominates the culture of tv anchors. They all will laugh about it later.

Consider this is your career. Everything is looking great as you make the climb into better assignments and better pay. Leaving the show might destroy a career.

Look at it another way. You find a bottle. Open it and a genie appears and tells you that there is one thing you must do to get guaranteed happiness and great pay. The genie tells you to piss your pants while doing your job. You only have to do it once.

In the same situation, I would sit there and piss my pants to save my job if it came to that! I suspect a majority of people would do the same!

The dignity of the anchor is safe from the public. There is no way that the producers would allow a picture of that being broadcast!
