Meeting a male friend who's arriving by bus with a problem.

He looks genuinely desperate, too bad we won't know how the situation resolved itself!

Yes. As regards resolving the situation, it certainly doesn't seem as if his "friend" was in any hurry to help, does it?

Trying to play it cool, wasn't he? But the bent over position he adopted at one point shows how bad it was.
I've got a couple of questions just for my own curiosity. (Only answer if you want to, of course... ) Did he try to get into the closed toilet beforehand? And did you actually hear any conversation about his desperation between him and the young woman he was with?

Yes, he was obviously bursting for a pee. Perhaps he didn't bother to hunt for a rest room before they got on in anticipation of using the toilet on the train. Big mistake, but typical of a young male. Or maybe he initially thought he could hold it until they got to their destination, changed his mind, and found the toilet was locked. The girl probably did use facilities before they got on the train.

When he first got on the train the station after me he went straight for the toilet. I was originally sitting down I only got up to stand to get a better view of the desperation. At the previous stop before I started the video we were held up and he was getting angry saying why aren't we moving as well as stating a couple times that he'll be lucky if he makes it.

IRN Bru (tm) goes straight through I noticed she never offered the bottle as a possible solution.
