There is the possibility that the gent hoped to attract your attention, that you'd turn around and get a good look at his fine pizzle. But more likely he took the opportunity away from his group to relieve an overfull bladder. It may have been urgent enough for him to risk being seen by you.

A brief sighting from yesterday. I was desperately waiting for free urinal in a short queue while a guy ahead of me did not see a man before and he said: „damn, I was hoping that’s my turn now!”.
Well, I guess there was a true battle between his legs.

In general, men are not as accustomed to waiting in line to pee as women, so they are more likely to put it off until the last minute, and they can be very impatient. If he (and you) were willing to wait in a line it was probably quite urgent!

I was on my edge as well. I consumed 1,5 beer and it made its way to my bladder while we were commuting to that place. I didn't have much time left

In the grounds of a major sporting and event precinct here, there's a spot pretty much guaranteed to be used when there's something on.
It is a discreet dimly lit path behind some buildings, lined with hedges and bushes, a garden, and an alcove running off it between the buildings part way along.
While there are facilities all of about 50 metres away, the directional signage for them is kind of misleading, it is easy to misread and think they're along this path (they're not). The transport interchange is also right nearby, so there's the "full and don't wanna carry this home, better unload" crowd nearby.
After games etc., it is a good bet that some guys will end up there, probably full and expecting the release promised by the signage, but won't find it. Some turn around and go back, some don't.
I was at a game there recently and sat down at a table in the garden after to wait for transport crowds to disperse.
A few instances of mates lined up, mutual enjoyment of wees into the bushes, some spraying everywhere just because we can, or games, aiming up into or over the hedges, accompanied by 'piss banter' and "needed that" groans. The alcove always gets a hosing, some just duck up there and unload, it is a bit more private. I checked it out before leaving, some nice big wet marks up and along the walls (of course I added one too

).
Anyway, sports fans are cool. More likely to be full or have been holding on, circumstances being what they are, and they're probably gonna be uninhibited and in good spirits after the game. Boys will be boys, men never grow up, nice big post game celebratory pisses are always enjoyed

I've noted that at some recently renovated sports venues, "potty parity" has been achieved by providing more fixtures for the ladies with a similar number of reduced fixtures for the men. This results in lines forming at the men's rooms, especially at male-dominated events and when beer is available at reasonable rates. Men being boys at heart will often relieve themselves in any secluded spot or in the parking lot.

There is a local festival on at the moment and this happened on the bus down to it yesterday.
The bus was packed but I could clearly hear the guy behind me (early 20s, white T-shirt, dark blue shorts) say “fuck sake” as the bus stopped, yet again, at a set of traffic lights. He explained to the girl he was with that he was busting, and may have to get off early if there was any more than 5 minutes left of the journey.
For the next few minutes (at least) I got to hear a running commentary of his dire need to urinate, including a golden conversation between the 2 about why nobody else had to pee. The girl told him it was because they had all gone before they left, it was only him that didn’t. He tried to argue that he hadn’t expected so much traffic and thought he would be fine.
I think the panic really set in when the girl told him there probably wouldn’t be toilets at the entrance to the festival. He was adamant that he needed to get off at the next stop, even though she pointed out there wouldn’t be toilets there either and there would be quite a walk to the nearest ones.
Even so, he pressed the buzzer to stop and said he was getting off and that she should stay with the others. She refused this and went with him.
It took a while for him to move down the bus as it was so crowded. He also stopped to explain to his friends that he was “busting” and would catch up to them later.
I couldn’t turn around to watch all of this unfold but he definitely sounded at his limit. I’m fairly sure if the girl hadn’t insisted on coming with him he would have just whipped it out in the street after getting off the bus!

Very exciting account, Sebby. What a blunder by that guy not to pee when everyone else did, and what a panic he must have been in that bus stuck in that heavy traffic when he realised he couldn't wait until they arrived!

Great story! Did you manage to see any of the desperation? Also, any further details about how he looked -- height, build, hairstyle?

Another lad who had confidence in his ability to hold, so he didn't bother to pee before they left on the bus. Then he discovered he was mortal after all.

I've known a few like this, and they've all had some interesting and desperate moments!
