Yes, it would appear that this challenge may be becoming a craze in Germany.

I love how the guy in glasses who is doing the filming actually whispers for the camera that he's in trouble ("painful") before he's confided that to his friend who is walking on ahead. (around 5.03).

EDIT: Actually to me it's a bit ambiguous on second thoughts. Perhaps he's just expressing embarrassment at his friend's behaviour at that point? Chikita, what do you think? Does "peinlich" refer to his bladder or to his friend's behaviour?

Again, I wish I knew German! This scenario (drink the water and then walk around the city) is so much more convincing than videos of someone standing in a shower stall in front of the camera and acting desperate.

Yeah, I really hope this trend goes on for a while in Germany! It even looks like they walk through the same park in two of these videos. I wonder what the rules for the challenge are when they say them at the beginning.

And yes, greatwater, I posted that one a while ago, but it's definitely a welcome re-post, especially in light of all the German contests recently. Are there any interesting moments from either of these to translate, Chikita?

The first one is cute and quite genuine! That fellow was very patient under the circumstances!
Again, being sadly monolingual puts me at a disadvantage for the second one, but I enjoyed it. I think they hammed it up quite a bit toward the end. I don't recall seeing this one before.

I have known people that were this dramatic. This guy has worked himself in to such a panic that he could actually pee himself!

Holy shit, that was awesome. He's so dramatic about it too! Too bad we couldn't see the end of it, whether he made it or not.
