Real Meets Overinflated Plastic
I'm disappointed that the Queen is receiving the Trump family. I thought she had better judgment than that.

I don’t think she has much of a choice. I was proud to be British up until Widdecombe returned to politics

According to the BBC, a US embassy press release has Mr 'T' very enthusiastic about the 'tremendous crowds' there to see him, except there weren't any, because, so far he has helicoptered everywher,e and any crowd there may be is being held well away from even shouting distance.
Which explains why the official 1 minute video only shows the sky with helicopter, Buckingham Palace, the banquet and soldiers marching.

From bits I've seen, the only crowds have been protesters.

I would ask that we not bring politics into this forum. Not in any way saying I support trump or anyone but just making a point don't be mad lol

I'm inclined to agree with you that this is not the right site for political discussion.Skikid2010 wrote: ↑05 Jun 2019, 03:52 I would ask that we not bring politics into this forum. Not in any way saying I support trump or anyone but just making a point don't be mad lol
If everything remains friendly and affable, however, I think we can give this miscellaneous section a bit of "freedom of expression". If it heats up in any way (the wrong sort of heating up, I mean), the thread will be closed smartly.
