Hello! Is there a place where members can list their locations if they're looking to connect with other members on the site?

I love the forum, but occasionally would like to take the fun into the real world, and meeting people here would be great!

I also travel for work frequently...

You're certainly not alone in hoping to meet up with others here.

There's undoubtedly plenty of communication going on via the private messages on this site. There are no restrictions (beyond obvious harrassment issues or spamming) on communicating with other people by this method which is, essentially, a private matter between the individuals. The site has neither responsibility for, nor knowledge of, whatever gets arranged in PMs.

As for a place for looking for people who are interested in meet-ups with anyone who lives nearby, how about this very thread which you have started? So, as you suggest, anyone who wants to can list their approximate location here. Do note, of course, that any information written here is viewable by anyone in the world with an internet connection. Don't put your full address here or anything like that!

I suggest that we should use this thread just to announce vaguely where we are in the world if we are interested in meeting people. Firm arrangements can follow using private messages which are of no business to anyone except the individual people involved.
