This site doesn't host material like photos, so the photo needs to be on another site and you need to post the link.

The site will display a linked photo if you put [ img ] (in square brackets, remove the spaces) before the url of the link and [ /img ] (again in square brackets, remove the spaces) after it. Or use the full editor while writing your reply, write the url of the link, highlight it with the mouse and select the "insert image" icon, the 9th one from the left.

That depends if it is a photo that is on your PC or if it is a photo that is on a website.

Assuming the former, the only way to publish a photo that lives on your PC is to upload it to a website and link to it from there. Currently I'm using OneDrive for this purpose, but if you have your own webserver then you can link from that or any cloud based drive.

Warning though, certainly OneDrive logs peoples real IDs if they download content, rather than just view it.

I used to post photos on Blogger, and on occasion I provide direct links to the images, like in this post: viewtopic.php?p=13158#p13158
This technique may still be available, but I have not checked.
