NEW: Writers' Workshop

Post by Brian »

Are you a writer of male watersports fiction who would appreciate some more constructive feedback and sharper criticism than we normally see in the stories sections here on this site?

Or are you an enthusiastic reader of our stories here who would like to offer such constructive criticism to the authors?

We have a new section of the site for this purpose.

To access this special section, you need to be a member of the usergroup "Writers' Workshop". Joining this group indicates that you appreciate sharp criticism and attention to things like writing style, helping writers with that attentive criticism or being helped as a writer yourself. Conversely, if you prefer not to be subjected to such criticism as a writer or to offer it yourself as a reader, then the new group is probably not for you.

If you want to take part, you can join the new usergroup in the following way:
  • Click on your name in the top right corner of the screen.
    Select "User Control Panel"
    Select the tab "Usergroups"
Select the group "Writers' Workshop" (click on the circle to the right in order to select)
In the bottom right of the screen, next to the word Select, choose "Join selected"
Press the "Submit" button next to that
Select "yes" to the "are you sure?" question
(If you have any trouble carrying out those steps for any reason, please message a staff member so that we can put you into the group. Membership is permitted for any member in principle.)

As a member of the group you will see the new Writer Workshops automatically.

It's a brand new section, and it may take time to get off the ground. It may not be a particularly busy part of the site, but that is no problem. A small, close-knit group of writing enthusiasts and their critical readers will be what we all make of it. See you there. :D
